Word 2 da reverb…I’m so glad that you’re hangin on the Glocal blog for a bit. My name is Matt Alexander and the vision for the Glocal blog is for it to offer solid information about the trip that I will be taking this Spring and what I will be learning as I travel. The word “Glocal” combines the words “Global” and “Local.” At the heart of Jesus’ message is this idea of the Kingdom of God that is spreading and moving both within you and throughout the world. Central to my identity and at the core of what my trip is about is continuing to learn what it means to be a “Glocal” disciple…being an influence for change in my culture and the culture around the globe.
I grew up in Richardson, TX and also lived for 3 years in Sacramento, CA. I’ve got an incredible mom, step-dad, and sis who live in Richardson and a too-cool-4-school dad who lives in Spring, TX. I am currently living in Richardson before I begin the trip.
